Technical Stuff

  • SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is a set of technical standards for eLearning software. These standards help software to be written so that it communicates effectively between the authoring tool, where eLearning content is built and where that content is made available to learners with an LMS (Learning Management System). SCORM 1.2 is one of the most commonly used versions for exporting course content. This is also the version we recommend for Fireloom. There are lots of tools to create eLearning content. We recommend the Adapt Authoring Tool.

  • You can build courses from SCORM (see above), PDF, embedded content, or learner tasks (where learners can upload a task for sign off).

  • Sure, why not… as long as you are on the paid plan. Though we do need it to be a domain that is not used for anything else. E.g. Our portals run from fireloom.com but our marketing runs on fireloomlms.com Please get in touch if you want us to sort this out for you.
